About Us
Welcome to Crowder Public Schools, a tight-knit educational community dedicated to providing a high-quality learning environment for all our students. Located in a rural area of Oklahoma, our district serves grades pre-K through 12. We are committed to fostering a love for learning, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
We offer a wide range of programs and activities to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Enrollment & Class Size
For the 2025-2026 school year, Crowder Public Schools had a total enrollment of approximately 350 students across our two school sites. Our student-to-teacher ratio is approximately 13:1, allowing for personalized instruction and a focus on individual student needs. According to the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA), Crowder High School is classified as a Class B school.
Academics

Core Curriculum: We provide a strong foundation in core subjects.
- Advanced Courses/Postsecondary Opportunities: Our high school offers opportunities for concurrent enrollment with local colleges, as well as an internship program for students to participate.
- Career & Technology Education: Students can explore vocational interests through programs in Agriculture, Business Education, and Technology. We also partner with KTC to provide opportunities for our students to receive a variety of certifications and experience in different programs.
- Special Services: We provide a comprehensive special education program with dedicated teachers and a speech therapist. Other services, such as physical therapy, are available through contracted providers.
Extracurricular Activities
- Athletics: We have a strong tradition in athletics, featuring programs in baseball, basketball, and softball.
- Fine Arts: Students can participate in drama, vocal music, and the show band.
- Clubs & Organizations: We offer a variety of clubs, like 4-H, a Fishing Team, and Student Council for both junior high and high school students.
