What's Happening at Crowder Elementary School

The 4th graders have been so busy these past two weeks learning how to divide in our math class.  Learning division takes a lot of practice at school and at home.  The majority of the class is now understanding division and learning how to apply it to situations in real life.  They have also learned a lot about patience and determination. In the picture they used math skills to talk about how many bones we have in our body.  We connected it to a Halloween activity and made an “X-ray” of our hand and wrist.

Music, Movement and Memorization all go hand in hand in 3rd grade. In our ELA class we do our Jingles for English! The students love to dance while singing our songs to help our memorization while we are learning our parts of speech! 🎤
